Here's Who We Are
Lutheran Campus Ministry at Minot State University is open, welcoming, and all about:
Our values that are integral to our work and service:
Raising up leaders
We are a student led community on campus where all are welcome. Always!
Here's How That Plays Out
LCM meets weekly for worship on Mondays at 7pm outside on the Old Main lawn, weather & COVID permitting. Otherwise, we'll meet virtually and in person as we are able so be sure to check out our Facebook or Instagram pages for updated location information!
Our time is shaped by fellowship, scripture, prayer, communion, music, and discussions.
All are welcome! Always!
Tuesday Soup - LCM, in partnership with local congregations, welcomes you to enjoy free lunch every Tuesday from 11am - 1pm. Come to the lower level concessions stand at the MSU Dome.
Minot State Food Pantry - Collaborating with Minot State University and MSU's Wellness Center, LCM supplies free food for any member of the Minot State University community who may be experiencing hunger and struggling to buy food.
Service is a central part of who we are. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we are not able to do more of our regular service activities this year.
A big part of LCM is gathering to discuss how we live out our lives from a place of faith. What might that look like in general? How does that look today with everything going on? There are no easy answers, so let's think about it together.
With COVID this year, we are less certain about where and when we can meet. Keep an eye on our social media for different events and details.
We love to kick back, relax, and have fun. Whether it's bonfire nights or going out to the pumpkin patch, we love to find reasons to hang out.
With COVID this year, we are less certain about where and when we can do this. Keep an eye on our social media for any social events we can pull off this year.
Hi there, I'm Anna! I have the privilege of serving as the campus chaplain for Minot State University and serve as campus minister for Lutheran Campus Ministry there. I guest lecture on Spiritual Wellness, collaborate with many different groups on campus to foster whole person health and wellness, serve as a confidential listener for students, faculty, and staff as needed, and work to build community between LCM, churches in Western North Dakota, and local Minot agencies and businesses. Best of all is working with students of all ages as we all continue to discern life, faith, vocation (what??? Let me know if you want to know more about that word), and all that entails.
I love God. I love people. I have lots of questions. I am interested in neuro science, theology, and spiritual trauma. I enjoy being creative. I love my teenaged children, my dog Wendell Berry, and my one-eyed cat.
